tawfik elgazzar was born in cairo - egypt - lived most of his childhood in saudi arabia, and has been calling sydnay- australia – home for the past 14 years.

after a career in business administration and information management, tawfik decided that chasing light reflecting off the world around him is his true passion, and managed to start his career in photography in 2004.

since 2007, tawfik has had the good fortune of making a living from photography, working in all sorts of disciplines commercially, until he settled on portraying people and documenting lifestyle as his main direction.

when tawfik is not meeting clients’ expectations, he travels in and out of australia, works on personal projects and cooks big feasts for his loved ones and friends.
